National Dog Day
August 26th is National Dog Day, a day to celebrate how dogs enrich our lives. Whether it’s a family pet who brings us joy, or a working dog who selflessly puts their life on the line daily, dogs are truly amazing creatures. We honor how dogs make our world a better place on this day.

The line for piroshki was very small (1-2 min wait), and they just had a tray of rhubarb piroshki set out. We immediately scarfed down the beef & onion piroshki and a cheddar garlic roll. Both are so yummy, very substantial, and enough to share for lunch. Doubled up on those and then got a few more before heading to the airport: chicken curry, beef & cheese, rhubarb. Needless to say, they traveled well, and we feasted on all the yumminess, and all was well in the world again.”
